The Club is holding it's monthly club lunch with Ruby Riethmuller and Imogen Clarke.
Ruby Riethmuller is the acclaimed Founder and Director of Womn-Kind. Ruby's impressive accolades include being shortlisted for Young Australian of the Year, selected as a Future Women Rural Scholarship Recipient, a finalist in the Agrifutures Rural Women's Award, and nominated for NSW Women of the Year. Despite these recognitions, Ruby is most proud of the positive impact she has on young people's lives.
Womn-Kind is a pioneering female-led youth mental health organisation dedicated to closing the gap in effective wellbeing education and support for adolescent girls and gender-diverse young people. Under Ruby's leadership, Womn-Kind has developed and launched numerous impactful initiatives, including school wellbeing workshops, the groundbreaking Womn-Kind App, the "Dear Sister: A Womn-Kind Podcast," and a range of merchandise, events, partnerships, and online resources.
Having grown up on a farm in the Riverina, Ruby is particularly focused on ensuring that young people in regional, rural, and remote areas have the same access to trusted and effective mental health services as their metropolitan peers. Since founding Womn-Kind, she has grown the community to support over 20,000 people.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from a remarkable young leader dedicated to revolutionising youth mental health support.
Imogen Clarke is a Medical Science graduate from Nowra currently working in Rehabilitation. Whilst her love for healthcare is strong, Imogen is passionate about her community and agriculture. Imogen has represented the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and AgShows NSW as The Land Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman runner-up in 2022 and has since joined the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Youth Group. Imogen was awarded the Shoalhaven Young Citizen of the Year award in 2024.
Growing up in an increasingly urbanising area, Imogen saw a gap in the knowledge of the local youth. Having been involved in creative arts and appreciating its role in education, Imogen wrote and produced an award winning short musical titled ‘Farm to Fridge’ in conjunction with George the Farmer telling the story of milk production. The production has since been professionally videoed and used as an educational tool in thousands of NSW public schools through the Royal Agricultural Society’s Ag in a Box initiative.
Recently, Imogen became the first female to announce in the Dairy Cattle ring at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Imogen hopes to continue her involvement with Agriculture and the Show movement and aims to inspire others to get involved despite not working directly in the industry. Imogen believes her involvement with community events betters the level of care she provides in her career.
