About the speaker:

Joey Clarke, Senior Science Communicator’s love for nature and science communication has been showcased throughout the AWC community since 2011. Starting as an Interpretations Officer in the Kimberley, he has since worked on various AWC sanctuary events as well as being a crucial member of the Communications team, including hosting the infamous ‘AWC in Conversation Series’. After completing a Bachelor of Science (Zoology, Ecology & Evolution) at Australian National University, Joey went on to further pursue his passion for birds, undertaking an honours thesis on the iconic Black Grasswrens at AWC’s Charnley River-Artesian Range Wildlife Sanctuary.
