How do I make dining room reservations?
The TWC dining room is open from 11 am to 3 pm on Tuesday through Friday. We accommodate walk-ins when possible via an a la carte menu, but it's best to book ahead.
Outside of hours, tea, coffee, and various nibbles are available via Tap and Pay. Two fridges are available with alcohol beverages and soft drinks for purchase by can or bottle. We have also introduced white and red wine by the glass in the drinks fridge in the Dining Room. They are self-serve and $10.00 a glass.
TWC Friends self-serve is an honesty policy. Use the Tap and Pay QR codes.
Can I bring a guest?
Friends may introduce other women, men, and children as guests to the Club. Guests must be met in the foyer and friends must sign their guests in by entering the guest’s name in the sign-in book, which is kept in the foyer. Children are admitted only under adult supervision. The friend of whom the child is a guest is wholly responsible for the conduct, behaviour, safety, and security of the child. The premises have not been designed with child safety as the foremost consideration.
Does the Club have a dress code?
TWC does not have a formal dress code, we encourage everyone to dress in a manner that reflects their personal style but still respects the shared space of the club. Jeans and sneakers are allowed. Whether you prefer casual, business casual, or something more formal, the key is to feel good and be considerate of others. We trust our friends to use their judgment and be mindful of the inclusive and positive atmosphere we aim to foster.
Can I use my mobile phone in the Club?
Please ensure your mobile phone is set to silent and preference is for users to take/make calls in the privacy of the phone booth provided in the Club foyer. Mobile phones may be used in the casual workspaces provided there is minimal disruption to those around you.
I'm worried about obtaining 3 member sponsors for my nomination, Help!
It may take a few weeks for the sponsor collection to develop. During this time, it helps if you come in and use the Club. Attend events and make connections. Alternatively, if you looking to expedite the application period or live remotely and find getting to the Club a bit difficult, contact us and we can connect you with some members via Zoom for a chat.
What happens when my nomination is approved?
When a candidate's nomination is approved, you will receive an invoice with annual fees, key deposit, and any chosen subscriptions. Once paid, you can enjoy ALL the benefits and full privileges of TWC membership.
